My name is Charles Garcia and I am a teacher of exceptional  students at San Diego High School.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree, with a concentration in Math and kinesiology, from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.  I taught in Beeville Texas for the last 17 years, before moving to the San Diego School District.  I was recently certified in the technology field. I am currently perusing my Master’s Degree from Walden University.  I have taught in the high school setting and coach for several years.  I have the privilege of teaching in the San Diego School District and truly enjoy every single day here!

My teaching philosophy is based on respecting differences, tapping into talents, and sharing my love for learning with my students. I believe we all have something to contribute and I learn so much from my students each day. I use a multi-sensory, theme-based instruction in the classroom and believe in a consistent, positive and respectful approach to making lasting, meaningful behavior changes.​
